First, let me say thank you for the opportunity to serve this year as the President of the EWGA Eastern Shore Chapter. I look forward to be working with such a great group of women.
Earlier this year, we voted as an organization to move toward a Flexible Board Model, which was suggested by Headquarters. I want to thank the seven individuals that have stepped up to the plate to serve this year on the New Flexible Board: Ellen Davies, Ruth Jones, Pam Marshall, Joan Muschiatti, Janet O’Brien, Rosemarie Pomilla and Barb Stitcher. Our success will be dependent upon the volunteers that they will have on their teams as they plan for the multitude of activities and leagues that we have scheduled for the upcoming year. We are counting on all of you, so please VOLUNTEER. If you don’t know what to do, please give me a call and we will get you on the team. The more the merrier!
Don’t forget to take a look at the emails that you get from our Chapter which will give you details on what activities are scheduled and how to sign up. Also, visit our website often for updated information.
Finally, don’t forget to talk to your friends and family and encourage membership in our great organization. Invite them to the Kickoff in April and you could win prizes for signing up new members.
