Chapter Championship in Wilmington

Flight 1: Peggy Meyerowitz: won low net with a net score of 73 (gross score 91).  There were 11 in her flight.

Flight 2: Donna Dalfonzo-Wiggs: low gross with 89.  Had sudden death playoff hole 10 to win tied 89 score. 

Flight 3: Sharon Hoffman: gross score 105, net score 79 - won 1st place low gross.

Frank Laber, a PGA member since 1978, served on the MAPGA section’s Membership, Tournament, Education, and Employment and Club Relations Committees.  Frank earned the Master Professional certification in 1996. Following 18 years as the Head Professional at Longview Golf Course, Frank became the co-owner and Head Professional of Black Horse Golf and Learning Center in White Hall, MD.  Frank has been honored for his contributions to the Middle Atlantic Section of the PGA of America. These awards include: the Horton Smith Award, the Bill Strausbaugh Award four times, the President’s Award, and the MAPGA Golf Professional of the Year. Now semi-retired, Frank, still active in the MAPGA, works at Ocean City Golf Club part-time, and is known locally as an expert in teaching "the short game." He offers weekly walk on clinics for the ladies of the EWGA, individual and group lessons for folks of all ages and abilities, and instruction for local school teams. Frank loves teaching; his students gain confidence, improve their skills, and most importantly, have fun!  Join in on Thursday evenings, 5-6 (Contact Jill Bower;; 443-523-5450) and Friday mornings, (Contact Maryanne Zielinski; 10-11 at Lighthouse Sound. Frank is married to Susan, a retired educator;  they have lived in Lighthouse Sound since 2009.
